There was a slump in the sale of car market just before COVID19 virus pandemic, owing to several reasons, one of them being government’s new regulation regarding the change from BS 4 to BS 6 emission norms. There was another factor like the economic situation that was worsening amid crisis in the market. The demand of car was falling but there was a consistent demand for used cars also subtly picking up because people were realising it made sense to invest a little money in a pre-owned car rather than in a brand new one. In many cities of India, the trend is the same and Mumbai is no exception.
Those who are looking for second-hand cars have some reasons behind it. They wish to own a car of their own which they can use to travel without depending on the public transport thereby avoiding getting infected by the virus.
